Terms of Use | Handwriting

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Ryder AI Pty Ltd, trading as Handwriting (ABN 24681083983, ACN 681083983), governing your use of the Handwriting technology demonstration at handwriting.app.

1. Description

Handwriting is a technology demonstration of AI-powered optical character recognition (OCR) developed by Ryder AI. The demonstration processes PDF, PNG, JPG, HEIC, and TIFF files.

2. Acceptable Use

You must be at least 13 years of age. You agree to use the demonstration only for lawful purposes, not upload content that infringes intellectual property rights, and not attempt to circumvent or interfere with the demonstration.

3. Your Content

You retain all rights to your documents. We process them solely to provide the demonstration. Documents are processed in memory and not stored at rest.

4. Privacy

Our processing of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy. Documents are processed using automated AI technology. Documents submitted to the demonstration are processed in memory and not stored.

5. Access

Access to the demonstration is provided at no cost. Any licensing or collaboration terms would be documented in a separate agreement. Australian Consumer Law rights are not affected.

6. Accuracy Disclaimer

While the recognition model is advanced, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy. Accuracy varies based on handwriting quality, document quality, and language. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all converted text.

7. Limitation of Liability

The demonstration is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Nothing excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.

8. Data Processing

A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request by contacting [email protected]. Any additional terms would be documented in a separate written agreement.

9. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Queensland, Australia law. Disputes shall first be attempted through good faith negotiation, then mediation in Brisbane if needed.
